Origin of "I Said The Schmidt House"

The Blog was named after an old joke about Santa and his Reindeer, Rudolph guided the sleigh to the wrong house! Unfortunately, I am actually sent to this house on regular occasions by Kari and Sydney. I am sure in a few years, Cole with be right there with me.......

Hanging With Big Sis.......

Cole and Sydney are becoming buddies, she is always available to help change diapers and give hugs and kisses...... But just wait until she starts bossing Cole around....

Bath time? What's that.......?

Cole wasn't initially very happy about "bath time", even though big sis told him it would be fun! But by the end, Cole enjoyed the attention (what man wouldn't enjoy being washed by two women?) and especially his new alligator towel and hugs from big sis......

Coming Home From The Hospital......

Cole Hunter was so excited to leave the Hospital for his new home. The hospital food was horrible and the bed was lumpy. Check out his new digs and crib......

Da Bears....

Although Cole Hunter is only 24 hours old, he has already become a Bears fan. He thinks Hester rocks and puts his tiny little arms and hands into the touchdown position when I speak of him. On a sour note, Cole Hunter spits up when Grossman is mentioned!

Introducing Cole Hunter Schmidt

Cole Hunter Schmidt was born today at 8:08am. Weighing in at 8lbs 15oz and 19 inches long. Both Cole and mother are doing well and trying to rest.

I'm Gonna be a big SIS......

Soon to be big SIS is very excited about teaching her baby brother "tricks".....

T'was The Night Before Birth

T'was the night before the birth of the "Boy" and all through the house not a person was sleeping due to a loud snoring wife! We are all excited awaiting the new addition and to begin new Schmidt family of FOUR traditions. We quietly say a soft prayer that the "Boy" will be healthy and a name will come to us quickly......
